Established in 1982, this practice has evolved to encompass site design and implementation projects, as well as long range master planning, community planning and resource management plans. On many of our projects we are the prime consultants. We frequently retain specialists from outside Montana and collaborate on interdisciplinary teams. Our staff of 8 shares a renovated building in the historic district with a multi-media, interactive software development. Due to our close association with a computer graphics firm, we have unusually sophisticated computer equipment and capabilities for a firm of our size.

Position

Fischer & Associates, is looking to hire experienced Landscape Architects. Our firm is ideal for individuals who have initiative, are creative, like diversity, and are versatile. Landscape Architects who are willing to live outside of a major urban area, and want to collaborate on significant issues and projects in the Rocky Mountain region should consider this opportunity.

We are looking for versatile and experienced Landscape Architects, to assist with all aspects of the practice. Experience in design implementation and construction administration is required. Our project work is diverse in focus, scale and client type. A commitment to creativity, quality, and the conservation of resources is a consistent theme. We service the public and private sectors, addressing development and conservation. We are currently seeking project managers for resource management, transportation enhancement and site development projects.

Requirements

All applicants should have a degree in landscape architecture or planning, and be fluent in windows based word processing, database and spread sheet programs. Competency with AutoCAD, Microstation, Arc View, graphics and digital simulation software are assets. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in planning and design implementation. More experienced candidates are urged to apply. Salary is commensurate with experience. Exceptional problem solving, analytical, written, verbal and graphic communication skills are required.
