FISCHER & ASSOCIATES		BILLINGS DOWNTOWN REVITALIZATION
		Fischer & Associates participated in the creation of the Downtown Billings Framework Plan.  As part of the process of creating the plan, volunteer citizens representing public and private interests met for several months to develop a vision for downtown. A multidisciplinary team of consultants including landscape architects, architects and urban designers, facilitated the process leading to a plan describing the character, values and physical organization of a revitalized downtown.  Land use districts, vehicular and pedestrian connections, green space, activity centers, and streetscape enhancements are recommended along with suggestions for how to strengthen the existing assets of downtown.  Currently, downtown property owners and citizens are actively involved in developing specific project proposals and funding strategies for a variety of downtown improvements as a result of the plan.
